On May 14, 2022 Martin University hosted its fifty-third commencement ceremony where Bachelor’s degrees were be awarded to 34 undergraduate students in assorted fields of Criminal Justice, Addictions Counseling, and Business Administration and 19 students were awarded master’s degrees in Community Psychology and Urban Ministry Studies. In addition to conferring degrees to graduates, Martin University conferred honorary doctorates to Dr. Charlie Nelms and Myra C. Selby, Esq.
The graduating class of 2022 became the first class to receive the Legacy Scholarship. The legacy scholarship is a scholarship alums are able to give to a family member or friend that would like to attend Martin University. The goal of this scholarship is to create a legacy for future Martin graduates with the end goal to help improve lives by alums sharing their experience and using the scholarship as a resource to help change someone else’s life.
