Martin University is dedicated to keep our community updated on all things revolving around student debt loan forgiveness. On October 17, 2022, President Joe Biden announced that the application to apply for student loan debt relief is officially open.
President Biden and our U.S. Department of Education colleagues are working hard to deliver to working and middle-class Americans up to $20,000 in student loan debt relief to Pell Grant recipients and up to $10,000 to other borrowers. Over 40 million borrowers are eligible for this relief, and nearly 20 million borrowers could see their entire remaining balance discharged.
